We require the use of our template in order to ensure your cards come out exactly the way you want. Please note that while you are able to download any of the file types below, final files must be uploaded as PDFs. Again, this ensures the smoothest possible process from design to delivery.

Delivering a quality end product is our goal, and we take a lot of steps to insure this.

When you place an order you will receive a design preview of your cards prior to production. Please review this carefully for any needed changes or typos. We will not begin production until we have received your written approval.

Once production begins, we will review the first card off to confirm that the appearance is correct and all design elements are functional and legible.

Before placing your order consider your options carefully and use the information listed below to prepare your design file efficiently and correctly.

Please download our Business Card Template and position your artwork within the area provided. (Actual card size is 3.4 x 1.9" as noted on the template)

Files must be uploaded as PDFs. Use vector art wherever possible. Raster images and text can be used for UV printing and laser engraving, but typically run at a lower quality and reduce our ability to optimize the design, if needed.

Cut lines MUST be in vector format.

File Upload: You will be prompted to upload your file(s) when adding your card order to the cart. If you have selected "front and back" you will be required to upload two files, one for each side.

File type: Files must be uploaded as PDFs.one for each side.

Need help?: If you are not able to submit PDFs, contact us below and discuss further options.

For UV Print:
• Create your design in CMYK mode
• Avoid using fonts smaller than 6pt
• Colors may appear slightly darker when printed on wood
• Due to the nature of the process, we cannot guarantee color matching

For Laser Engraving:
• Use black fills to indicate engraved area
• Avoid using fonts smaller than 8pt
• Avoid using thin fonts
• Distorted and distressed fonts may also engrave poorly
• For relief engraving, use bold shapes

For Bleed Printing and Engraving:
• If your design goes all the way to the edge of the card, make sure your artwork extends to the orange bleed line (3.45” x 1.95”)

For Exterior Cuts:
• Our default cut shape is 3.4” x 1.9” with 1/16” rounded corners
• Indicate a custom exterior cut with a 1pt red line
• Custom exterior cuts cannot extend beyond the blue bounding box
• Custom exterior cuts may reduce the durability of your card

For Interior Cuts:
• Indicate interior cuts with 1pt red lines
• Use strong connecting points wherever possible
• Floating objects must be bridged
• Interior cuts may greatly reduce the durability of your card

For Cards with Two Sides:
• Be sure to mirror your interior and/or exterior cuts when designing a second side to your card

• Position your artwork inside the blue bounding box
• If your design goes all the way to the edge of the card, make sure your artwork extends to the orange bleed line
• Submit your file(s) as a .PDF using vector artwork
• For cards with two sides, upload two separate files

Every card order includes 15 mins of free design time. This includes reviewing and preparing your files, as well as optimization and any suggestions that might improve the quality of your cards.

If your file requires any additional help we will notify you. We can provide you with the necessary changes or you can have us repair the file for a nominal fee.

If you have would like our help designing your card from scratch, you can select this when adding your cards to the cart.

Our design services include an initial file prep, revisions and suggestions, and a second file prep based on the feedback from the initial design. If you would like to request multiple iterations/options we can provide you with a cost estimate for a more extensive design service.

Before we begin, we will ask you to provide us with any icons or logos you'd like to use, as well as text, font size/style/placement preference, and any other pertinent info you'd like us to include in the design.

These are custom made products and unfortunately we do not accept returns or issue refunds.

However, in the event that an error was made on our end we will gladly replace your order.

Why highly recommend that you double check all proofs and order details prior to approving production.

We typically ask for 5-7 business days to fill an order, but strive for shipping orders as soon as possible.

Please be aware that a number of factors play into delivery timing and we cannot guarantee completion dates.

If your cards are for an event or require specific delivery timing please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Also consider that ground shipping may also take up to 5-7 business days, so expedited shipping might be necessary.
